Year 7 intake in September 2024
The national offer date for Year 7 school places is Friday 1 March 2024. Parents who completed the local authorities Common Application / Preference Form (CAF / CPF) will be advised by the local authorities of the school allocated to their child on this date.

In-year admissions (years 7 to 11)
There are 210 places in each of Years 7 to 11.
If a vacancy does occur, the Academy will look at the waiting list and children will be prioritised in accordance with the oversubscription criteria in the Admissions & Appeals policy 2023-24 (available from the Downloads section below).
If you wish to apply for a place, you will need to complete the application form available on Manchester City Council’s website. The form needs to be returned directly to the Council. On receipt of the Application Form a copy will be sent to the Academy. If a place is available, the Academy will contact you to arrange admission. If there is no place available, then your children will be placed onto a waiting list for that term. Parents will need to re-apply each term to keep their children on the waiting list.
