Year 6 Transition Day / Evening 2025
Date of Event: 2nd July 2025
We are delighted that you have been offered a place at Dixons Brooklands Academy and we look forward to welcoming the class of 2030 and their families into our academy. Over the coming months, we will get to know students and their families through a variety of events and activities. Through this process, we will discover what will help each and every student be successful during their time at Dixons Brooklands and to achieve our vision for them during their time with us.

We aim to make the transition process for students as seamless as possible and to support this we have several events that will take place in the near future including:
Transition day: Wednesday 2nd July - On this day, we invite all year 6 students who are joining us in September to come and spend the day with us. Students will have an opportunity to tour the school and to participate in a number of workshops. We hope to alleviate any anxiety students might have about starting in September and to create opportunities for students to form new friendships
- Transition evening: Wednesday 2nd July – This evening is designed to help parents/carers and students prepare for the new academic year by providing information about the school and key policies. There is also the opportunity to purchase uniform and meet key members of staff such as the Year 7 Pastoral Team, Your Advisor and members of the Senior Leadership Team
